B&Q have just launched their full range of Garden Gazebos for the 2010 season. Below we have an in-depth look at what’s available.
B&Q Value Gazebo
This B&Q value Gazebo is now the cheapest on the site, priced at only £13.98! The gazebo is a relatively simple affair; a square white powder coated steel frame with a white polyethylene cover. The Gazebo measures 2m x 3m and comes complete with pegs and guy ropes. An absolute bargain!
B&Q Deluxe Green Gazebo
The B&Q Deluxe Gazebo measures 3mx3m square. The Gazebo is constructed from a tubular steel powder coated frame covered in a waterproof dark green polyester canopy – a must for outdoor living in the Great british weather. Side Panels are available separately for the Gazebo to afford extra protection from the sun and rain priced at £29.98 for a pack of three. Gazebo priced at £39.98
B&Q Hexagonal Gazebo
B&Q are the first to bring out a hexagonal gazebo this season. Hexagonal Gazebos afford a little more room than traditional square gazebos and are great as dining shelters, being particularly suited to round dining tables. The gazebo is of steel frame construction covered in a green polyester cover which will give some protection from the weather. The gazebo also comes complete with mesh sides which don’t block out the sunlight but do afford protection from insects and bugs. The Gazebo measures 4x3m and is priced at £69.98
B&Q Large Party Gazebo
Measuring a huge 9mx3m this Party Gazebo is great for weddings and gatherings of all types. The Steel framed gazebo includes side panels and is fully waterproof so you can be sure your event can continue even when the weather turns bad. The sides of the Gazebo can be added or removed as required making the gazebo very flexible. The sides also feature a number of windows so the interior stays light with the sides down. Priced at £129.98.

Continuing the series of Retailer Focuses, this post is going to take a closer look at Robert Dyas. Robert Dyas has been around for a long time – since 1872 in fact! Robert Dyas have a over 105 stores located in the South of England and sell a range of items from garden equipment to homewhere and electricals.
The website (robertdyas.co.uk) provides a wide range of their products that can be ordered for home delivery.
Product Range
Robert Dyas have a good range of 5 different gazebos covering a range of styles and price points. A few highlights of their range are;
Delivery
Standard delivery is at a flat fee of £5.25 for anywhere in mainland Britain. This is compares with many of the other retailers who are also around the £5 mark
Ease of Use
The Robert Dyas Website is well layed out and clear. While it would have been nice to have some additional photos of the products and a little more description, the site does feature a very clear checkout system.
Voucher Codes
There are currently no voucher codes available for the site however Robert Dyas regularly money off promotions on their gazebos. There are currently good savings to be had on some of their popualr gazebos (click here for more information).
Conclusion
Robert Dyas offers a good range of gazebos at very good prices (especially with the current offers!). They are a well established name and have the physical presence to back up their online store. Recommended.

Welcome to the firt in a series of ‘retailer focuses’ in which we look at some of the popular Gazebo retailers in detail. First up Focus DIY.
Focus DIY is a well established DIY and Garden retailer with a national chain of 181 stores accross the country. The company was foremd in 1987 and has gone from strength to strength ever since. The Focus Website offers home delivery on a wide range of Focus Products, including of course, Gazebos!
Product Range
Focus offers 3 different styles of gazebo, none of which we have seen been sold by any other internet retailers. Briefly, the models are;
- 3×3 waterproof Party gazebo with sides – a great value gazebo which is waterproof and has 3 sides included to boot! All this for only £39.99
- Hexagonal Gazebo – a fully waterpoof gazebos and a design which is unique to Focus, again at a very reasonable price – £49.99
- Party Gazebo – One of our favourte party gazebos – fully waterpoof, includes sides, and at 6m x 3m a decent size to fit everyone in – all for £79.99
All in all a small but perfectly formed range. It’s great to see that all gazebos sold by Focus are fully waterproof so you’ll never be causght out by the ‘great’ British weather!
Delivery
Delivery is £5 for items up to £100 in value and takes 2-4 working days which we think is very reasonable.
Ease of Use
The Focus website is clear and simple. While it maybe could do with some extra photos of the products, the website is clear and well laid out, if not as flashy as some of the other retailers.
Voucher Codes
Focus does occasionaly offer discount codes offering a percentage off when a certain amount is spent although there a no promotions currently running.
Conclusion
Focus offer a small but perfectly formed collection of unique gazebos at very reasonable prices. The website is simple and clear to use, and delivery is reasonble.
